The economic down turn has meant the prices on products such as chip tuning bmw, petrol and diesel have hit an all time high. Decisions which are made in parliament by politicians can often have a knock on effect on life in general. The decisions we as people take most notice of usually, are the ones that will affect us financially. Fuel prices have been a major topic of discussion both in and out of parliament. The British people tend to pay more for petrol than America. Last year petrol prices hit a record high with the cost of unleaded petrol being tipped over the £1.20 per litre mark in some areas of England. This not only had an effect on the motorist, but also on business with shipping costs hitting an all time high. Even though the cost of crude oil has fallen by almost 100 dollars per barrel, the tax on fuel is still upped by the government each year. Meaning many unhappy motorists and businesses. It is not just fuel prices that suffer, with the current financial downturn many companies have been suffering from lack of car sales. During the boom finance on cars was readily available, and a potential buyer would be excepted for finance with ease. Today, this is not the case, many banks have stopped lending and businesses have suffered. The car industry as a whole has seen sales figures plummeting. Many of those who have bought cars through manufacturers such as Audi, are keeping hold of the vehicles until there is an upturn in the current financial situation. A good servicing record which shows Audi Tuning and Chip Tuning could be of use when the car is sold on at a later date. Any decision which is made in government, usually has a knock on effect on real life eventually. Many of the decisions are positive ones, others although often not popular with the public are necessary in order that the economy keeps moving. Any decisions which are made by the government and have a positive knock on effect to the average member of the public financial are greeted favourably. |
